Northern Virginia

Family Photographer

Hi, I'm Mary!

Hi, I'm Mary! I live in Chantilly, Virginia with my husband and two energetic daughters. I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area.

As a veteran and mompreneur, I feel proud to have my own traditional small business. I previously served in the U.S. Navy as Hospital Corpsman and I lived in various parts of the country and even Japan.  It was later when I was stationed in Washington, D.C. my life would change.  I met the love of my life, said goodbye to my job, moved overseas and became a traveler.

Shortly after moving abroad, we started our family. This was when I discovered my passion for family photography. I wanted to remember every moment and capture the beauty of my growing family.

We returned to Virginia in 2021 and I have been photographing families ever since. I wanted to take my passion to the next level, so I went back to school to earn my A.A.S. in Photography and Media, which has helped me truly hone my skills and strengthen my creative vision.

Testimonials

“Mary did a fantastic job! She’s professional, personable, patient, and was a complete joy to work with. She provided great direction on positioning ourselves to ensure that the perfect photos were taken. She was even able to get our shy toddler to engage and smile throughout the entire session, which made our experience that much more memorable, and it added priceless family portraits to our collection. We highly recommend her, and will be utilizing her talents again in the near future!”
